In appointing a full time Academic Innovation & Research Director, the Girls’ Preparatory has an exciting opportunity to re-design its executive. We are therefore looking for a Deputy Head: Girls’ Education whose main responsibility will be to focus on the holistic and future-focused development of the girl child. Social-emotional wellbeing, pastoral care and discipline will form part of this portfolio. We are also looking to appoint a Deputy Head: Academics who will oversee the delivery of the academic programme. Our vision is that the two Deputies will work in a synergistic way with a unified focus on the unique opportunities and challenges of educating girls in our time.
•A suitable professional qualification and appropriate educational experience, particularly in girls’ education;
•A sound and progressive understanding of the South African curriculum and international trends in education and be willing to

in the broader education community;
•Previous experience in a leadership position within an ISASA school would be advantageous;
•A high level of organisational, managerial, administrative and communication skills;
